First Financial volunteers were thrilled to assist with the summer shopping days at The Exchangeree locations! Our team helped to greet the Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) educators and lend a hand while they shopped the shelves for their students and classrooms.
The Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public Schools launched its Exchangeree initiative in 2018 to create a community resource center to support BCPS teachers and students. Now with two Exchangeree locations, one in Windsor Mill and the other in Rosedale/Golden Ring, educators can access the resources and supplies they need for free year-round.

The annual food drive benefitting The Westminster Rescue Mission was a huge success! In partnership with Knorr Brake Company (KBC), we donated over $1,100 to support the Carroll County community.
Over the summer, the food drive collected non-perishable items and canned goods. Additionally, employees could make a monetary donation. A portion of the donations directly supported the Westminster Rescue Mission’s Plates of Plenty campaign, helping them purchase and distribute meat, fresh produce, dairy, and dry goods to food pantries across the county.
The Westminster Rescue Mission is a nonprofit organization that provides clinical, physical and spiritual resources to help Carroll County and Maryland residents in need. It has two distinct areas of service: its Addiction Healing Center and the Mission Food Program.
At First Financial, we strive to help our members and community live better every day. By partnering with organizations like KBC and the Westminster Rescue Mission, we are committed to making a positive impact together!
Thank you to the generosity of KBC and First Financial employees!
First Financial was excited to attend its first National Night Out (NNO) in Baltimore County! We enjoyed meeting members of the community and even got a special visit from McGruff, the crime dog, of the Baltimore County Police Department.
The 41st National Night Out campaign featured events throughout neighborhoods in the county with Officers, Firefighters and other first responders. Neighbors had a great time at block parties, cookouts, games and more! We were there as a community resource partner, educating Baltimore County residents about our services and showing our commitment to supporting them every step of the way on their financial journey.
National Night Out is an annual campaign that promotes police and community partnerships through positive activities. The campaign helps to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement.
Thank you to the officers and first responders for welcoming us and for their dedicated service to the community! We’re already looking forward to next year’s Night Out!
