First Financial is proud to sponsor student run branches at Dundalk High School, Lansdowne High School, Chesapeake High School, Eastern Technical High School, New Town High School, and Calvert Hall College High School. The branches are run by student interns from each high school along with a faculty advisor who oversees the program's operation. Students, faculty and staff at these schools learn about and conduct their financial transactions in a safe, convenient way with access to free, or very low cost, financial products and services offered by FFFCU.
The Millionaire’s Club is a financial skills experience in a high school club setting. First Financial currently sponsors four Millionaire’s Clubs in Woodlawn, Perry Hall, Franklin and Calvert Hall College High Schools. Clubs are provided seed grant funding, detailed curriculum, and Faculty Advisor and Club member materials at no charge. Club members elect their own leadership, actively engage in the program, and conduct a year-end entrepreneurial project that allows Club members to put their new financial skills into practice while ensuring the Club’s future.
First Financial works in partnership with several high schools within our field of membership to offer a Debit Card Program. Through this program, the student ID functions as a PIN activated debit card for making purchases on the high school campus in the dining hall and bookstore. Purchase amounts are debited from a First Financial checking account. It’s a safe and easy way for young adults to learn about managing a checking account. Learn More
