Do I need OnLine Teller to use EZ-Pay?

No. The services are completely separate. You may use OnLine Teller without EZ-Pay, or EZ-Pay without OnLine Teller.

Is EZ-Pay available through Touch Tone Teller?

No. EZ-Pay requires Internet access. Also, you must also use an Internet browser that supports 128-bit encryption (i.e. Netscape Communicator 4.01+ or Microsoft Explorer 4.01+).

Which Internet browser software may I use?

The general requirements are browser software that supports JavaScript and 128-bit encryption. At this time, Netscape Communicator version 4.x or Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 4.x and 5.x work properly with EZ-Pay. Unfortunately, Netscape v6.0 does not work with EZ-Pay at this time. Programmers are working to make EZ-Pay compatible with Netscape 6, but we don't yet know when the fix for Netscape 6 will be ready.

Why can't I sign up from your web site?

Since there are monthly charges for this service, and the service transfers funds from your checking account, we need to have your signature on a form that allows us to make the withdrawals.

Will the funds be sent electronically to pay my bill?

Most checks are sent electronically, and the number is growing each month. As of September 2003, 56% of all EZ-Pay checks were transmitted electronically to the payee, while the remaining 44% received paper checks. As bill payment volume increases, we expect to send more checks electronically.

How long will it take EZ-Pay to get the payment to the company or person I need to pay?

Payments sent may take from 5 to 7 business days to arrive at your payee.
