In accordance with the above, the Board of Directors has authorized participation with credit reporting agencies to facilitate making member loans and guaranteeing member share drafts. The information that First Financial provides to credit reporting agencies is protected by federal law and its use is strictly governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. First Financial Federal Credit Union of Maryland does not collect or maintain information about its members that is not essential for prudent business purposes. First Financial has not and will never in the future sell member information to third parties. However, First Financial does use third parties for operational purposes to assist us in providing exceptional service and the highest quality and most competitive financial and consumer products to our members. Our e-mail promise to our members:First Financial won't give or sell your e-mail address to anyone without your explicit permission. You will receive no more than 1 to 2 promotional e-mails from First Financial per month, and all e-mails will be regarding products and services offered by or through First Financial. All promotional e-mail from First Financial will be labeled with "ADV:" in the subject (for advertisement), and will be sent from announcements@firstfinancial.org. If you ask us to not send you any promotional e-mail, we will stop. If you no longer wish to receive promotional e-mails from First Financial, you may tell us your mailing and e-mail preferences by filling out our electronic preference form. There are over 70 different check combinations that can be ordered through our website, and we use a cookie to keep track of your selection to automatically enter the correct check style on the check order form.
